Introducing: VibrantSocial!

I'm so pleased to announce my new social media app, VibrantSocial!
It is a web app for now, but I have a GoFundMe happening that will hopefully help me expand into a native app in mobile stores.
VibrantSocial owes a lot to MySpace in inspiration, but brought up to date for 2026 technology, usability patterns, and the speed of our lives.
I chose to use the Lexical Editor, moderately modified with custom plugins and interactions, for the bio and post editing experience to provide maximum flexibility in expression.
As of writing, VibrantSocial is merely 105 users strong, but we are growing everyday. I've only been live for 23 days, promoting even less time.
The Communities page is always growing, and features a mixture of all of the hash tags in use on the site, a list of recent public or friend posts by image/video, or recent popular comment disussions. I plan to do a lot to build out what will really become a sub-app of different ways to play with post and user data.
Profile editing is where the MySpace influence comes in strong. I am working on all sorts of ways to customize and make your profile your own. Come check it out!
I use AI very conservatively and, I think, intelligently. You will not hear mention of AI on the site, because I don't want things to be "AI features". AI is a tool. All of what we build are tools with different technologies underneath.
That said, the Anthropic API is in use in generating post tags, including image analysis, in creating post summaries under "what you missed" and in generating color schemes for any given background.
It's growing everyday, and I'm taking all precautions to make it a safe community and platform. There's so much more fun, heart and thought that's gone into this than I can share here. You have to experience it! Please give me your thoughts. Thank you!
